Supporting Students across departments!

This year in PVUSD we are beginning intentional work to increase efficiency across all levels of support through interdepartmental collaboration. Above was the first professional development collaboration with school psychologists and social-emotional counselors. Both teams were being trained to provide small group interventions for students showing the need for supplemental behavioral and social-emotional support support.

PVUSD has a wide range of services for students. Our staffing currently includes 22.5 Academic Counselors, 18 Social-Emotional Counselors, 16 Mental Health Clinicians, and 18 School Psychologists. All students are provided various levels of support depending on any given need. Each of our staff provides general support, supplemental support, and/or intensified support for students. Please check your school website for access to counselors and the wellness form from your school.
