A collaboration between PVUSD and the State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation helping to transition students from school to work.
If on-the-job training is necessary to supplement the client's qualifications, the Department of Rehabilitation will pay the employer a predetermined fee for training a client.
Services are available to assist the students with work site training in some cases.
During training and the first few months of employment, the Department of Rehabilitation counselors and career development specialists keep in close contact with participants and employers to assist in the adjustment process and to offer technical support to both students and employers.
